An agent from the Police Highway Patrol Division was run over at about 9:50 am this Tuesday on PR-2, kilometer 132 near the Coloso sector, in Aguada.
According to reports, the uniformed officer was in the area of the promenade when a vehicle braked and another did the same, losing control of the steering wheel and hitting the official vehicle.
The policeman suffered an open head injury and a possible fracture to his right leg, for which he was transported to the San Carlos Borromeo Hospital in Moca, in stable condition.
The driver underwent a breath test, which returned 0% alcohol.
