How far would you be willing to go to have the opportunity to meet one of your childhood heroes? Some dream while others take action. An example of this is the Japanese comedian duo consisting of the two gentlemen Manabu and Takumi who, since they were three apples high, had a deep admiration for David Wise. The legendary composer who spent many years at Rare where he created music for, among other things, the Donkey Kong Country trilogy on the Super Nintendo.
From Tokyo all the way to Nottingham they traveled in their hunt for Wise. Completely without trying to reach out to him in advance. But the absolute best part of all this madness is how they accidentally run into the composer on the side of the road after first trying to visit and call at his house.
