SALT LAKE CITY, – The FBI reported that a suspect who had made social media threats against President Joe Biden and other officials was shot dead Wednesday morning in a Utah city.
At around 6:15 am special agents attempted to serve arrest and search warrants at a residence in Provo, a city south of Salt Lake City.
The suspect, identified as Craig Deleeuw Robertson, was shot dead by FBI agents.
“The FBI takes seriously all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members. In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under review by the FBI Inspection Division,” they said in a statement.
Several short and long weapons were seized from the house, as well as ammunition.
