NEW YORK — Firefighters extinguished a three-alarm fire at an apartment complex in the Soundview section of the Bronx.
The fire took place in the Sotomayor Houses complex.
Telemundo 47 was on the scene where massive flames were seen shooting from the roof of the apartment building as firefighters worked to control them amid thick smoke.
It is unknown what caused the fire and if there are any injuries. The level of damage to the structure is also not known.
