Judge Ángel G. Rodríguez Torres of the Guayama Court determined on Wednesday cause for the arrest of 28-year-old José Alberto Rivera Pandilla, known as “Gordo” and “Gungin”, for a murder that occurred on August 5, in Salinas.
Rivera Pandilla faces charges for First Degree Murder, Carrying, Possession or Illegal Use of Semi-automatic, Automatic Long Weapons or Sawed-Off Shotgun and Shooting or Aiming Firearms, the latter by Puerto Rico Weapons Law.
The investigation reveals that on August 5, the defendant – in the company of another man identified as Edgar Joel Rojas González – used an automatic firearm to kill José M. Díaz González, 38, on PR-701. , intersection with PR-190, in front of the Las Margaritas urbanization. The victim was detained there in a white 2017 Transit Connect vehicle when he was attacked.
“I am not a victim for him, I am a prey that escaped from the hunter,” says the woman.
In connection with this crime, agents from the Guayama Drug Division seized a .40 caliber Glock pistol through a raid.
A global bail of $500,000 was imposed on the defendant, which he did not provide, being admitted to the Bayamón Correctional Complex.
