When He left Cuba at the age of 28 She never imagined that she would become a successful businesswoman in the United States with four businesses under her belt. In an interview with “Destiny Tolk”Laura told how she managed to become a successful woman.
In Cuba she studied accounting and finance, marketing, public relations, auditing and administration, and even took a management course. Before emigrating with her husband and four-year-old daughter, through a claim process initiated by her father, she worked in a hotel on the island in the accounting department.
“We arrived empty-handed”he recalls when talking about his early days in Miami in 2014 when He started working at a pizzeria in Hialeahuntil she moved as a saleswoman to a company that sold truck parts and pieces.
She admits that the first few years were very difficult. She and her husband barely saw each other because of their work schedules. Her father took care of the girl so that she could study after work.
Laura and her partner decided to take a risk and start their own accounting and tax business.In the first year she only did her taxes, her husband and her father, but in the second year family and friends began to trust her and the business began to grow and in the middle of the pandemic they already had enough clients to open an office.
“No business comes from above, everything has to start from scratch”he says from his own experience.
“I feel proud of myself”she adds, and no wonder, since in addition to her tax business she already has a beauty treatment company, another company that provides medical services for seniors at home in the process of expansion, and a clinical laboratory.
