Tudo indicates that Google will take advantage of the I / O event, this month of May, to present a new affordable mobile phone, which is allegedly called Pixel 7a. However, says Yogesh Brar’s Twitter page that this may be the last model in this series of mobile devices.
The page in question suggests that the launch of a foldable screen phone will change Google’s strategy, which will decide to keep the ‘standard’ models of the Pixel line as the most affordable proposal in the mobile phone catalogue. Naturally, the Pro models will continue to be part of the Mountain View technology strategy.
“The Pixel A series appears to be coming to an end. With the increase in specs and price of the Pixel 7a, it is certain that there will not be an 8a”advances the publication. “Google will likely keep the ‘standard’ and Pro models along with the foldable going forward”.
Naturally, it is not known whether Google will, in fact, stop launching Pixel A series phones, so we will have to wait for official confirmation.
Pixel a series seems to be coming to an end. With the spec and price bump on the Pixel 7a, it is certain that there won’t be any 8a coming.
Google will likely stick with vanilla and Pro models alongside a foldable going forward. Something similar might happen with Samsung
