Today we can finally see more about the Gran Turismo movie. A new trailer dashes into the spotlight and shows the first impressions.

The material was first shown at CES on Wednesday and confirms the release date of August 11, 2023. So you still have to wait half a year for the fast-paced film. Neill Blomkamp and screenwriters Jason Hall and Zach Baylin are involved. Producer is PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan, while Gran Turismo creator and head of Polyphony Digital Kazunori Yamauchi serves as executive producer.
The film itself is about the GT Academy competition held between Nissan and Sony between 2008 and 2016. The competition earned the winner a place in Nissan’s driving developer program.
British racing driver Jann Mardenborough won in 2011 and has since competed in the GP3 Series, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Japanese Super GT Series.
