It has taken ten days, but now the third Guardians of the Galaxy film can boast of having grossed over five billion kroner at cinemas around the world. Powerful numbers and a positive boost for Marvel, which this time can enjoy overwhelmingly positive reviews from both fans and critics. In stark contrast to many of their other films from phase four and phase five.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has done particularly well in China where, along with Black Panther Wakanda Forever and Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania, it is the first Marvel premiere in over three years. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, however, has some way to go before it comes close to the success of its two predecessors, which recorded 7.7 and 8.6 billion kroner respectively.
