Two gunshot wounded men entered a southwest DC fire station Thursday night seeking help, police said.
Both men ran to the fire station on Half Street SW around 6:30 p.m. after they were shot near the 1300 block of First Street NW, which is a couple of blocks from Nationals Park, authorities said.
The shooting occurred around the same time as the Nationals’ game against the Boston Red Sox was ending.
Medics took the men to a hospital. Both were conscious and breathing, but had life-threatening injuries, the DC Fire Department said.
