Haas extends relationship with engine supplier Ferrari until 2028

KANNAPOLIS.- The team Haas Formula 1 extended its partnership with engine supplier Ferrari until the end of the 2028 season.

The agreement “provides long-term stability for the engine” and the next major change in regulations is planned for 2026, it said in a statement on Tuesday.

Ferrari has been the sole engine supplier to Haas since its F1 partnership began in 2016. Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix will be their 179th race together.

“I am delighted to extend our relationship with Scuderia Ferrari until 2028,” said Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu. “They were instrumental from the early days and have continued to be a valued technical partner for us.”

Haas is set for a driver shake-up next year, with British teenager Oliver Bearman replacing German veteran Nico Hulkenberg, who joins Sauber for 2026.

Danish driver Kevin Magnussen will be replaced by Frenchman Esteban Ocon, who will leave Alpine next year and Magnussen will likely take his seat there.

Haas is seventh in the constructors’ championship this season with 27 points, having collected 20 points in the last two races.

Beltré declares himself ready for his role in the “Clásico”:

Dominican Adrian Beltre will be in charge of the ceremonial first pitch at the All-Star Game at the home of his first team, the Texas Rangers, five days before his induction as a member of the Hall of Fame on the first ballot.

Beltre will be joined by fellow Rangers Hall of Famers Fergie Jenkins and Nolan Ryan and catcher Ivan Rodriguez on Tuesday night at Globe Life Field. Beltre will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sunday in Cooperstown.

The talented 45-year-old played the final eight of his 21 seasons with the Rangers and made his only World Series appearance in his first year in Texas in 2011.
