A 36-year-old man was later arrested Losing control of his vehicle and running over a 6-year-old boy at 12 and 88, Altos de San Lorenzo. Police officers found that the driver was completely drunk and had a false driver’s license.
The minor was not seriously injured, was transferred to the Children’s Hospital and is out of danger. However, the scare and indignation dominated the neighbors who witnessed the moment due to an episode that could have been tragic.
Official sources reported that the driver identified as MRF., aboard a gray Chevrolet Corsa lost control of the vehicle, collided with a Chevrolet Aveo and then rammed the minor who was on the sidewalk.
Witnesses to the event called 911 and minutes later the police arrived at the scene.
The police officers performed a breathalyzer test on the driver, which determined that he had 2.0 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. They also confirmed that the driver’s license was fake.
The detainee was accused of “use of a false document, violation of article 289 of the penal code and culpable injuries.”
