PARKER, Colo. – The Parker Department of Public Works and police have issued a traffic alert for drivers in the area of Bradbury Ranch Dr north of Mainstreet, between Independence Dr and McClellan Dr. The road that runs over the bridge has collapsed and will remain closed until further notice.
The street photos show a large hole over the bridge that spans the middle of the street. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon.
The Department of Public Works was at the scene of the incident Monday morning working to repair the hole, it is not clear how long the road will be closed.
Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area and take alternative routes while the repair is carried out.
