It won’t be so easy this time

María Elvira Salazar highlights the power of the Hispanic vote in the 2024 elections

MIAMI- Florida Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar rejected the announcement by the National Electoral Council (CNE), controlled by the Chavista regime, which declared Nicolás Maduro the “winner” of the elections for a third consecutive term amid an avalanche of irregularities.

Salazar, on his social network X, called the result a “shameless attempt to steal the elections and an insult to the Venezuelan people.”

The congresswoman also stressed that “Congress will denounce it,” referring perhaps to possible US legislative intervention to address electoral fraud. She also stressed that “the White House will denounce it and the international community will denounce it,” pointing to a coordinated response at a global level against what she considers a serious violation of democratic rights.

The congresswoman stressed that, unlike previous occasions, “It will not be so easy this time for the regime to sustain this aggression against the will of the Venezuelan people,” he emphasized.
