Argentine striker Leandro Benegas terminated his contract with Independiente to join Colo Colo from Chile.
In this way, Benegas will play again in Chilean soccer, where he had a prolific previous step, since in addition to the “U” he also wore the shirts of Unión La Calera, Audaz Italiano, Palestino and Curicó Unido.
The termination by mutual agreement between the player born in Mendoza and the club now chaired by Fabián Doman will have a payment from Colo Colo of $200,000 for Independiente.
Of course, this rescission also occurs in exchange for Benegas desisting from receiving the debt that Independiente had with him since they did not pay him the last three months of salary or additional prizes for objectives.
The player arrived at the Avellenda institution at the beginning of 2022 and during the year he stayed he played 41 games in which he scored 13 goals.
