CAMERON COUNTY.- DSHS and local health departments are investigating a case of malaria in Cameron County and evaluating the possible exposure of others.
Malaria is a mosquito-borne disease.
Authorities ask residents to protect themselves, issue some recommendations:
-Use repellent
-Wear long clothes,
-Eliminate standing water
