A man died after being shot on the night of this Sunday, July 30, Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra reported.
Hidalgo County Sheriff’s agents went to the Progreso Port of Entry around 9:13 p.m. because one person was injured, the sheriff reported on his social media.
The victim, who has not been identified by authorities, was taken to a hospital where he died at 11:36 p.m.
