DORAL.- The mayor of the city of Doral, Christi Fragaannounced through his account on the social network Instagram that he sent letters to the Congress, the White House and the State Departmentin which he requests greater support for Venezuela, in the midst of the electoral fraud committed by the dictatorship of Nicolas Maduro and the wave of repression that has intensified against citizens.
In a shared video, Fraga said that Venezuela is going through difficult times and it is necessary to redouble efforts to help that country, so he urged “to be on the right side of this story, in support of the Venezuelan community.”
“Today, I am taking a crucial step to support our Venezuelan community in the aftermath of the elections. I am signing letters to our representatives, asking for their support in these difficult times. I am also sharing the moving story of a young Venezuelan man who reminds us of the urgent need for assistance. Together, let us amplify their voices. Let us unite for Venezuela,” he said.
Doral is the city with the largest population of Venezuelans in the United States, so Fraga also sent in the letters the testimony of one of the Venezuelans who recounts the cruelty of the regime’s actions. “United, until the end, for Venezuela,” wrote the official.
