Chiapas.- Honduran Melvin Saúl Chacón Mendoza, 50 years old, who was part of the Viacrucis Migrante, vanished in the dome in Huixtla, Chiapas, and died minutes later.

The man, who was traveling alone, was taken to hospital but arrived without vital signs.

The events occurred after six migrants and an activist sewed their mouths shut in protest to demand decent conditions to cross the country.

According to some migrants, the man mentioned that he suffered from heart conditions.

“He started to feel bad and then he fell,” said one of them.

His compatriots immediately put together a cardboard coffin and walked the streets of this city to protest this death.
