One year of war in Ukraine: Zelensky promises that Ukraine "will triumph" russian terror

Volodymyr Zelensky posted a message on social media on the eve of the commemoration of the first year of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He reaffirmed that the Ukrainian resistance would defeat its enemy.

Ukraine “has not cracked” and “will triumph” over Russian troops and “terror”, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday, on the eve of the first anniversary of the country’s invasion by Russia.

“We have not cracked, we have overcome many hardships and we will triumph. We will hold to account all those who have brought this evil, this war on our land. All the terror, all the murders, all the tortures, all the looting,” he said in a message posted on social media.

He added that Russia had chosen “the way of the murderer, the way of the terrorist, the way of the torturer, the way of the looter” in unleashing this war and that this “choice of state” would require “state responsibility for the terror committed”.
