Open source screencapturing with ShareX: pin graphics directly to the screen

As part of the new version 15.0.0, ShareX will have a feature that allows users to pin content to the screen. With the screen capture software, for example, graphics can be added to a transmission with just a few clicks in variable sizes and transparency.

The developers are also introducing a tool that allows users to cut out any area of ​​a graphic. As usual, different edge effects are available in the integrated image processing of the software. A wave effect is new here.

For screen recordings, ShareX now offers a pause function along with a suitable hotkey. The recorded area can be moved during the pause. Finally, the application will get a Dark mode, the previous color scheme will remain under the name Night.

In addition, there are many smaller changes lists the changelog. ShareX is released as open source software under the GPLv3. With the Windows tool, screen content can not only be recorded and edited, but also uploaded directly for other users.
