An investigation was opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office for “search for the causes of death” after the discovery Thursday evening in an apartment in the 20th arrondissement of Paris of a three-year-old girl who died in a washing machine, BFMTV learned confirming the information of Parisian.
Thursday evening, the parents of a family of several children noticed the disappearance of the granddaughter. The family searched the whole apartment for the child and then outside before the father found her inside the machine, which was turned off at the time.
Emergency services were immediately alerted but were unable to resuscitate the girl. “At first sight, the child showed no signs of beatings,” a police source told BFMTV.
The investigation must determine the causes of the death of the child, the investigations were entrusted to the brigade for the protection of minors.
