A driver hits two pedestrians who were trying to cross at an intersection in East Harlem.
One of them did not survive.

The fatal victim is a 51-year-old man, while the other pedestrian is in critical condition.
Police say the driver struck them at the intersection of East 105th Street and First Avenue around 6:30 p.m. last night.
The driver remained at the scene and was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
