A man who landed in Philadelphia from San Diego has been charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a minor aboard the American Airlines flight.
Edward Decker, 45, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, is reported to face charges of abusive sex aboard an airplane.
The event took place in July 2022 and it was not until almost a year later that the charges were made official.
If convicted, Decker could face a maximum penalty of five years in prison, one year of probation, $500,000 in fines and $200 in additional costs.
