Preview: The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood believes in the soul of cards

The narrative game is a very difficult exercise, which quickly reveals its weaknesses and, above all, its artifices. Where other genres easily camouflage their pitfalls with the instant pleasure of play, the literary experience is vulnerable to criticism, which can cause boredom in spite of itself, or at least struggle to justify its interactive nature. The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood is not on that side. Designed with great care by Deconstructeam, a Spanish studio which draws its acclaim from the excellent Gods Will Be Watching and The Red Strings Club, it is a deeply playful meditation, simultaneously very well written, and which combines these two strands of DNA to transcend them. Devolver has nabbed another nugget to edit.
