Protests in the south: vandals try to loot Plaza Vea in Tacna and PNP reinforces security

A group of protesters tried to force their way into the supermarket in see square in Tacna. As reported by Canal N, the National Police of Perutogether with the Armed Forces, reinforced security in the area to prevent looting from taking place.

It was detailed that it is a group of people, mostly young people, who threw stones and objects at the PNP troops.

“There has been a confrontation with the Police and the military personnel (…) They continue in the surroundings and seek to enter (the supermarket),” explained the correspondent of the aforementioned medium.

Protests in the south: Plaza Vea de Juliaca, in Puno, is looted

On January 9, there was looting in the Real Plaza de Juliaca, in Puno. A group of vandals entered the premises to loot Plaza Vea, the premises were destroyed.

Several videos have been shared through social networks about the looting of Plaza Vea. In the pictures you can see how strangers remove various products from the supermarkettaking advantage of the demonstrations against the Government.
