Raid on illegal drug dealing business in the Bronx

Police seized a massive shipment of marijuana and hallucinogen products on Saturday night in the Bronx.

In collaboration with the Sheriff’s Office, the NYPD responded to community complaints about illegal cannabis sales on Timpson Place in the Mott Haven neighborhood.

The sheriff’s office says the facility covers a half-city block and is responsible for both packaging and selling illegal products.

Cannabis, marijuana cigarettes, mushrooms and other hallucinogenic products were found at the site.

In total, approximately $10 million worth of goods were seized, according to Sheriff Anthony Miranda.

The Sheriff also says many of the products were packaged in candy wrappers to attract young people.

Mayor Adams visited the scene of the raid last night.

An investigation is ongoing.
