SEAAL: drinking water cut in 4 municipalities of Algiers on January 3

The Water and Sanitation Company of Algiers (SEAAL) has announced that the supply of drinking water will be interrupted in four municipalities of the capital. And this, throughout the day of Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Indeed, according to a statement from the Water and Sanitation Company of Algiers (SEAAL), the supply of drinking water will be interrupted, following work on a main pipeline in the municipality of Bach Djerrah. Therefore, the SEAAL informs its customers that work is scheduled for this Tuesday from 9 am for a period of 24 hours.

This suspension of the drinking water supply will affect which municipalities?

In addition, this suspension of the drinking water supply, which will impact 4 municipalities in Algiers:

  • Municipality of Kouba in part
  • Commune of Gué de Constantine in part
  • Municipality of Bach Djerrah in part
  • Commune of Bourouba in part

To conclude, the SEAAL reassures its customers at the level of the municipalities affected that the restoration of the drinking water supply will be done gradually once the work is completed. A mobile device for supplying drinking water by tank trucks will be put in place to ensure supply to priority users (public establishments and hospitals).
