The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired the ceremony to celebrate World Press Freedom Day coinciding with May 3.
Indeed, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired today, Wednesday May 3, 2023, at the International Conference Center (CIC) Abdelatif-Rahal in Algiers, the celebration ceremony of World Freedom of the press (May 3).
The ceremony took place in the presence of senior State officials, members of the Government, as well as representatives of the national and international press accredited in Algeria.
On this occasion, the Minister of Communication, Mohamed Bouslimani, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the various reforms underway in the Communication sector and the efforts made by the State to promote the sector. Also reaffirming Algeria’s support for the struggles of all free journalists and all those who love freedom in the world.
