The National Meteorological Service (SMN) launched the “Time APP”, the official application of the agency that provides information on the weather, the forecast and the early warning system for the entire national territory. The application is freely available for IOS and Android.

“Most of our daily decisions are made based on the weather, and this App came to make a difference, providing official, quality, accurate and updated information. It was a demand that we had from society and we are very happy to present it today”, said Celeste Saulo, director of the SMN.
One of the differential characteristics of the official APP is that it informs about the Early Warning System and notifies the user when some type of alert has been issued for their city.
In addition, the APP offers the possibility of automatically viewing the information of the place where the device is located or saving several cities as favorites to quickly access the data; reports the weather data from the official network of weather stations of the SMN, the forecast extended to 7 days, alerts, warnings and warnings in the very short term.
This is the first version of the application, which in future updates will incorporate more features, such as widgets, satellite and radar images, and weather models.
