It is Fagersta-Posten, which reports that the municipality is in the starting pits with producing a new detailed plan for the forest area next to the folk high school. The plan is to build townhouses in condominium form that will attract older people to let go of their villas.
– If we should then build it ourselves or sell it as a development object and let someone else take the construction responsibility, we are not quite done with that yet, it is something we are thinking about, says Emma Wikman.
Consultants have now been hired to draw up sketches of how the residential area could be designed and will later also carry out inventories of natural values and geological surveys. The plan is for a proposal for a detailed plan to be ready for consultation in early summer or summer.
