As detailed by the prosecutor in the Jorge Vas case, the suspect collaborated with the authorities to find the body of Valentina Cancela after confessing his crime.
The police had started a search operation by land and air following a complaint from Cancela’s family, who had not heard from her since 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, when she was last seen in Playa Brava with her ex-partner.
