Late on Easter Sunday, an alcohol driver collided head-on with a traffic light in Lustenau.
On Sunday, April 9th, 2023, a drunk 53-year-old man, according to the police with a blood alcohol content of around 1 per mille, drove his car on Bahnhofstrasse in Lustenau in the direction of the Swiss border.

At around 11:30 p.m., he collided head-on with the traffic lights in the Hofsteigstrasse – Maria-Theresien-Strasse intersection, the so-called “Lustenauer-Hof-Junction”.
