Ukraine denounces strikes "massive" Russian missiles on several cities

Several explosions in kyiv, but also in the cities of Odessa or Dnipropetrovsk have been reported.

Ukraine again under Russian fire. The Ukrainian air force denounces this Thursday morning “massive” Russian missile strikes on several cities in the country, including the capital kyiv.

“The enemy is attacking Ukraine on several fronts, with cruise missiles fired from planes and ships,” the Air Force announced on social media.

A hundred missiles

According to Reuters, more than 100 missiles targeted the country in waves, and anti-aircraft sirens were heard across the country, an adviser to the Ukrainian presidency, Oleksi Arestovych, wrote on Facebook.

Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Odessa, according to local media. Power cuts have been announced in the Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, in order to minimize potential damage to strategic infrastructure.
