Van vs. drug dealing in high school campuses

Juarez City.- The Secretary of Public Security of the State of Chihuahua (SSPE) and directors of high school schools in Ciudad Juárez agreed to work together against drug dealing within the schools and against other problems such as fights, violence and harassment.

The purpose, officials said, is to provide a safe environment in the different campuses of the institution.

Gilberto Loya Chávez, head of the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE), reported that the objective of the meeting was to strengthen communication bridges and hear from first source the problems that may exist in the College of Bachelors in terms of security.

It is about, he said, working hand in hand with managers, teachers, students and parents to find a joint solution, not only in the short term, but also actions that improve security conditions.

Before directors and representatives of the Cobach system, Loya Chávez pointed out that with these actions they will benefit those who are present today and that soon they will also sustain the future of Ciudad Juárez.

What is intended, Loya specified, is that the schools are safe oases and the necessary actions will be carried out to achieve this so that there is no consumption or drug dealing, nor fights, violence or harassment by anyone.
