TUESDAY FEBRUARY 7
18:00 – NIGHTMARE – The Turks
18:00 – CHAOS – nDurance
18:00 – Tackle – 5Stars
18:00 – Domino – Riddle
19:00 – Rich Gang – Lazy In Life
Finally, the Telialigaen League of Legends is underway again, and already in the first round several viewers were probably surprised, when nDurance won against Rich Gang.
The team’s Mid Lane player Andreas “yupwulf” Brustad was also mildly surprised by the result in the opening round.
– You can safely say that the opening round was quite a crisis. None of us expected to lose against nDurance, but we played badly in two out of three games and they won deservedly, he says to Gamer.no.
If 2023 is to be the year of the wolf, “yupwulf” must gather the pack and look ahead. The first obstacle on the way is Lazy In Life in the Telialiga’s second round.

Fortunately, it is a long time until the end of the season, but Mid Lane player Brustad still believes that the pressure is present when they now face Lazy In Life. According to the player himself, only victory is good enough.
– With such a bad start to the season, I think we all feel that this is a game we must win to show that we are a serious team with ambitions.
And it is perhaps not so surprising that Brustad feels the pressure. Both he and his teammates have high ambitions for the season, and there has been speculation as to whether this could be the wolf’s year.
– I saw that the year of the wolf was mentioned, but my nickname doesn’t really have anything to do with wolves. It’s just an old nickname I’ve had since I was little, he says to Gamer.no.
Wolf or not – the predator in the Mid Lane has at least rallied the pack and sharpened its focus since the last round.
– We just have to wait and see if this is my year. Personally, I never imagined losing the opening match, but it has been a wake-up call for both me and the rest of the team. We have to get together.

If there is anyone who can break up the Rich Gang pack, it might be Brustad’s former teammate, ADC player Mathias “Tidebringer” Kruse.
After sitting out the first half of the autumn season due to last-minute team changes, he made his entrance at Rich Gang. There, among other things, he helped send his current team out of the playoffs. This year it will be different, let’s believe the ADC player himself.
– This year it will probably be Lazy In Life who beat out Rich Gang. I don’t really think that we will have major problems winning, he says to Gamer.no.

The ADC player’s confidence is high before Tuesday’s clash, and the belief in the team is at least as high. Kruse makes no secret of the fact that the goal is the Telialigaen trophy, this time as an underdog.
– It’s fun to be a kind of underdog. I’ve already won the Telialiga a number of times, so the next step is to win while being seen as an underdog. If our synergy holds, I actually think our chances are good to be able to win the cup.
