All electoral frauds are, in essence, self-coups by the established power that perpetrates them. True. But this is not a conventional fraud, of the kind that the bosses of hegemony have made themselves masterminds. No. This has been a colossal fraud that was prepared long before the day of the vote.
It is a public, notorious and communicative self-coup. The so-called civil-military union (which is neither civil nor military, in the democratic sense of the concept), is the basis of the self-coup of organized crime that has been controlling power.
They are the perpetrators of the self-coup. The victims of the coup are the Venezuelans who reject the despotic and predatory hegemony, in an overwhelming majority.
The hegemony has skillfully staged a show. There is no denying that.
But this theatre has a structural flaw: 70/30 of the results are expressed in the minutes.
This is a test that cannot be hidden. It can be ignored, it can be passed over in bad and bad ways. But it cannot be hidden.
No. This is not typical fraud. It is a self-coup by the established power to try to prolong the continuity. I repeat: the overwhelming majority of Venezuelans reject this reality. They do not want more fraud, more despotism, more hardship. They want another way. The self-coup will not be able to prevent it.
