The American Bri Blanton, 18 years old, took a real shock to find out that she would be a mother. Unlike other pregnant women, the young woman did not have a trousseau, medical follow-up and did not even see her belly grow. When Bri found out she was pregnant, she was already in labor.
“I didn’t know I was pregnant. I haven’t had symptoms, I haven’t gained any weight, and I’ve had my period for the past nine months. I didn’t have time to prepare for my daughter’s arrival because I had no idea,” said Bri, on a social network.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, Bri’s mother even suspected that there was something wrong with her daughter when she saw her vomit after a meal. The young woman, however, took a pregnancy test which was negative.
On September 8, 2022, Bri woke up writhing in pain and realized she was wet. She thought she had wet the bed but, arriving at the hospital, the nurse explained that, in fact, the gestational bag had burst. At that moment, the young woman was already five centimeters dilated.

After two hours of labor, Oakleigh Allyn, daughter of Bri was born in South Carolina, United States. Today, the child is four months old.
