What happened this week in “Bitter Earth”? Antena 3 broadcast a new batch of episodes, from Monday 16 to Friday 20 January, of the Turkish soap opera that captivated Spain with the story of Züleyha (Hilal Altınbilek), Mehmet (Ibrahim Çelikkol), Fikret (Furkan Palalı), and others characters, who face all kinds of situations in Çukurova.
“Bitter Earth” is in its fourth and final season in which the fate of its characters will be defined: who Züleyha will stay with, what will happen to the Yaman company, the true identity of Hakan Gümüşoğlu, the relationship between Betül and Abdülkadir and other unknowns that are to be resolved.

1. Hakan rescued Kerem Ali
Müjgan’s brother has kidnapped Kerem Ali and taken ten million euros. He and his men fled with the child, as they seek to ask Fikret for money for the ransom.
However, they did not count on the intervention of Hakan Gümüşoğlu. He cut them off before they fled through the airport. Hakan alerted the police and rescued Kerem. The young man then returned the child to Fikret.

2. Züleyha wants Fikret to be her agent in the Yaman company
Züleyha wants to make Fikret a proxy for the Yaman company. That way, he can deal with matters involving Hakan and she won’t have to see her ex-partner.
However, Hakan is still the owner of 40% of the company, so it is best for Fikret to negotiate with him. For his part, the young Fekeli has agreed since he would do everything for Züleyha.

3. Çolak and Betül responsible for the theft of Züleyha’s jewelry
Züleyha was worried because Gaffur and another worker did not return from the jeweler. Fearing that something had happened to them, she went looking for them and found that all their jewelry had been stolen.
Gaffur and another worker from the Yaman mansion were gagged inside a car and had everything stolen by bandits. Behind the robbery were Betül and Çolak. And they have also managed to be left without their home.

4. Züleyha humiliated Betül in front of all of Çukurova
After Betül and Sermin gambled with the subject of the seizure of the Yaman mansion, Züleyha has decided to defend herself: she has reproduced in the cinema in front of everyone in Çukurova a conversation where Betül gloats about everything she has done to her.

5. Çolak attacked the Yaman mansion
Çolak and his men showed up at the Yaman mansion and began shooting the building’s facade. The man took this attitude because Betül was humiliated by Züleyha, so she wants to take revenge on her.
