MIAMI.- The Puerto Rican group Slight is in mourning before him death who was one of its members between 1990 and 1993, is the singer Adrian Olivares.

“Remembering Adrin, the 23rd member of Menudo, who brought joy to many from 1990-1993. Born 6/2/1976, his legacy will live forever in our hearts. #RIP #menudofamily,” the social media post reads, showing a black and white photo of the artist as a teenager.

In addition to Munudo’s official account, other members – such as Sergio Blass and Robert Avellanet – expressed their feelings about the death of Olivares, who passed away at the age of 48.

“Fly high, little brother, and much strength to your family. You were always mature for your age and your charisma was unmatched. You will always be one of the good guys and you will always live in our hearts,” wrote Sergio Blass, who was in the group from 1986 to 1990.

“I’m still in shock! Strength to his family. Happy transition for his soul. I will always remember his great sense of humor. We’ll see each other there, brother. RIP Adrin,” said Robert Avellanet, who sang in Menudo from 1988 to 1991.

On the other hand, Eliana Olivares, daughter of Adrian Olivares, confirmed the news; however, she did not reveal the cause of death.

“I have no words. Daddy, I love you forever. You have shown me love, guidance, strength and so many other things that I would never have known without you. I still can’t process the fact that you’re gone and that I can’t give you a hug or tell you how much I love you. You are the best father a girl could ask for. I know you are in God’s hands and I am so grateful to have you as my guardian angel. I will love you forever daddy,” said Eliana, who resides in Miami.

According to the Puerto Rican newspaper The New DayIn the 1990s, the concept of the group Menudo gained momentum again with the addition of new members: Andy Blzquez, Abel Talamantez, Alexis Grulln, Ashley Ruiz and Adrin Olivares, who was later replaced by Ricky López, in what was one of its last stages.
