Haddad has recently been working in the Mannheim Fire Station III and from now on drives from one operation to the next together with paramedic Paul Raue (Paul Zichner). And it is not uncommon for a touching human fate to lie behind a supposedly life-threatening situation. Together with her team – fireman Markus Probst (Max Hemmersdorfer), fire chief Piotr Maszalek (Mark Zak) and Billy Johannes (Anna Schimrigk) – Haddad experiences a lot of exciting and emotionally stirring things. It is not always easy for the emergency doctor to maintain a professional distance. Because, of all things, on her first day at work, the emergency call leads her to a family that brings back memories of her childhood. The world of firefighters is new territory for the doctor. But she quickly realizes that behind the uniforms and the sometimes rough humor are people who are not indifferent to the fate of those who call them. Nina, who was born a lone fighter, also finds that her colleagues are there for her – including in her private life.
