After second cardiac arrest – Presley family had to seal Lisa-Marie’s death

The worst came in the hospital!

On Thursday evening (local time), the daughter of rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley († 42) died at the age of just 54. Three weeks before her birthday. It was a terrible last hour for the family.

Lisa Marie collapsed in her luxury mansion on Normandy Drive (Calabasas). cardiac arrest! She was taken to West Hills Hospital and pronounced brain dead because of her poor condition, TMZ reports. She was in a coma, addicted to machines.

Then the next shock: Lisa-Marie’s heart stopped a second time. Her mother Priscilla (77) and the family had to make a difficult decision: should the 54-year-old be resuscitated or not?

The family decided: No, Lisa Marie should not be revived, the situation was too hopeless due to brain death. Her mother had previously prayed at the sickbed.

It is still unclear how long Lisa-Marie was in her villa before her housekeeper found her in the bedroom. First her ex-husband Danny Keough tried to bring her back to life with a heart massage. He had just taken the children to school. Despite the divorce, Danny and the singer lived together.

Then the rescue service took over and got the pulse back after 34 long minutes.

Lisa-Marie Presley – a difficult life before death

The life of Elvis’ daughter Lisa-Marie was anything but easy.

At just nine years old, she found her father, rock ‘n’ roll king Elvis Presley, slumped on the bathroom floor – in cardiac arrest. Just four years later, she turned to drugs herself.

Addiction, mental anguish, debts, four failed marriages and five rehabs (alcohol, coke, opiates) followed.

She suffered the worst blow in 2020. Her son Benjamin († 27) put his mother’s shotgun in his mouth and pulled the trigger. Lisa-Marie never recovered from that: “My heart and soul went with you,” she wrote on Instagram.

Only her daughters Riley (33), Harper and Finley (twins, 14) let her fight on. At the Golden Globes a few days ago, she already looked like a ghost and burst into tears during the acceptance speech by Elvis actor Austin Butler (31).

Now she’s back her father and also with her son.
