After having canceled many crossings from Algerian ports, the national shipping company has decided to make a new crossing program available to its customers. It should be recalled that Algérie Ferries, which operates its trips with a reduced fleet, has given up on several of its crossings over the past month.

Although all the lines provided by this maritime carrier have been impacted by the repeated disruptions announced by Algeria ferries. The line connecting between the port of Oran and that of Alicante in Spain remains the most affected by these cancellations.

As a reminder, the most recent of these cancellations concerns two crossings scheduled on the same line. In particular, those scheduled for today January 9, but also the one scheduled for January 10, 2023.

Crossings to Spain: Algeria ferries unveils a new program for January 2023

In a new press release made public today, January 9, 2023, the national maritime carrier announced the establishment of a new crossing program. The latter concerns travel between Oran and Alicante.

On its booking site, Algérie Ferries plans to provide crossings between Oran and Alicante. And this, on January 12, 16, 19, 27 and 30, 2023. In addition, other crossings are also scheduled, for returns. And this, for January 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27 and 31, 2023 from Alicante to Oran.

With the implementation of this new program, Algerian travellers, but also members of the diaspora, hope to find a normal rhythm of the company’s crossings. Especially since the latter had to reschedule their trips several times following repeated cancellations.
