AMY Childs has said she won’t breastfeed her twins – and is ready to be ashamed of it.
The former Towie star, 32, already has children Ritchie, four, and Polly, five, and is due to give birth to a girl and a boy.
Amy explained that she and her boyfriend Billy Delbosq had agreed not to attempt what she called the “disaster” of trying to breastfeed her first children.
She said OK! “Bill and I had the conversation when I found out I was pregnant and that’s when I decided not to breastfeed.
“I tried with Polly and Rich and my milk never really came through properly and I had to wear a nipple shield – I had a real disaster.”
She added: “When I had Polly I got a lot of messages saying ‘you have to breastfeed’ and for me I decided I wasn’t going to, and that’s when we so.
“I know I’m going to be trolled but I’m still being trolled – you’re never going to please everyone so you have to do what’s right for you.
“Because the twins will be bottle-fed, I do all my research at the minute to find out what the best milk is for them.”
Amy added that she is determined to enjoy the first part of her twin’s life as it is the last time she wants to have children.
She said, “I think that’s me completely over.”
Amy shares daughter Polly, three, with ex Bradley Wright and son Ritchie Jr, two, with businessman ex Ritchie, whom she split from in 2019.
Polly is often seen on her social media and has even made appearances on Towie. However, Ritchie is rarely shown.
Amy explained why, telling The Sun: “I also want to clarify this because I get a lot of messages every day on social media saying ‘why are you still posting pictures of your daughter and not your son?
“Or ‘why is Polly on the show and Ritchie not? Do you love your daughter more? etc
“I must get about 20 messages a day about Ritchie, but basically Ritchie’s dad and I have agreed together not to put Ritchie on social media or Towie.
“We won’t put him on social media or on TV until he’s old enough to make that decision himself.”
