With each new batch of iPhones it’s the same old story. Why are the borders so wide? Apple would finally consider changing that.

It’s been a few years now that consumers have been asking Apple to reduce the border of iPhones, knowing that the competition often manages to do better at this level. Well according to a new rumor as well as several sources, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models could finally see the long-awaited moment arrive.

This time it’s good for Apple?

To sum up the situation, ShrimpApplePro on Twitter posted a series of tweets on January 21, talking about the design changes for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. At that time, he explained that the high-end models would have screens with much thinner borders, as well as curved edges and a flat screen. He also said in these tweets that the larger model, named the iPhone 15 Pro Max or iPhone 15 Ultra, will be of a design that is supposed to mimic the Apple Watch for design.

Well recently, to confirm this, the Insider asked the question to other sources to be sure, the borders of the next iPhones 15 Pro and Pro Max would indeed be thinner. On the other hand, Apple would not touch the size of the screen, which would remain 6.7 inches. The flat screen with slightly curved edges would therefore use the same system as the Apple Watch.

Other sources confirm this information, stating that the edges of the pros will be thinner.

they’re not aware of the curved edges, but that’s okay, it’s still very early, mid-February.

Mass production of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro would not begin until mid-2023. It is therefore indeed still too early to be sure.
