The Boring Company strongly criticized
The effectiveness of the project was challenged by a number of pre-existing solutions. Worse, the system proved to be less efficient than public transport due to the high number of employees required at each station and the limited number of passengers that could fit in each vehicle.
To this, we must even add the underground traffic jams, which was however the best argument of the tunnels.
The Loop project is developed by The Boring Company, an Elon Musk company that has experienced many setbacks in recent months. The Boring Company dangled its underground transport project from local elected officials, but the cities were quickly disillusioned and put a stop to the projects. The company did not respect budgets or environmental obligations.
