Nino de Angelo and Helene Fischer both released their new album on May 12th. This could jeopardize Nino de Angelo’s chart placement.

Wertach – The top of the charts seems to be at risk for singer Nino de Angelo (59). The German singer with Italian roots calls himself on Instagram: “The Bad Boy of German Schlager”. He had his breakthrough in 1983 with his song “Jenseits von Eden”. It was not until 2021 that the singer released his album “Gesegnet und Ver Cursed”, with which he celebrated an unexpectedly great success. He landed in second place in the German album charts and received the gold disc. Due to strong competition, his renewed placement at the top is in danger.

Nino de Angelo released his latest album “From Eternity to Eternity” on May 12th this year. With this he wants to continue seamlessly with his successful album “Gesegnet und Ver Cursed”. In the new release, the singer is concerned with the good and bad facets of love and is peppered with titles such as “There where my heart burns”, “Not a tear” or “My heart never stops”.

Nino de Angelo competes against Helene Fischer

But Nino de Angelo wasn’t the only one who released a new album on May 12th. This is the album “Best of (Das Ultimative -24 Hits)”. This covers a full 90 minutes of playing time and is a compilation of the most popular Helene Fischer hits of her career. From the classic “Atemlos durch die Nacht” to “Herzbeben” from their album “Rausch” everything is included. The pop singer was number 1 in the album charts in Germany more often than any other artist. So it’s going to be close for Nino de Angelo. Sources used: Universal
