The independent film festival returns to the City of Buenos Aires

He Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI) is one of the most anticipated events in the film community. It is the opportunity to see the award-winning films in the latest editions of the most important festivals in the world and to see Argentine premieres and from multiple countries. It begins this Wednesday the 19th and will last until Monday the 1st of May. Like the previous edition, to federalize the meeting, there will be a platform on-line where you can see many of the movies.

The festival has three competitive sections: the International Competitionthe Argentine Competition and the Vanguard Competition and Gender. In each of them, shorts and longs compete equally for the prizes, regardless of their duration. In addition, there will be films grouped into thematic sections such as Music, Arts and Crafts, Comedies, Families, Growing Up, Places, Nocturnal, Passions, Politics, Trajectories and Horror.

Tickets

The functions will cost $300, for retirees and students it will cost $200 and there will be 2 for 1 for those who pay for tickets with Banco Ciudad debit or credit cards. The main ones will be: talk tribute to Maria Elena Walsh where different artists will dialogue with the writer’s work from a cinematographic perspective. Leonor Benedetto, Daniel Rosenfeld, Tamae Garateguy and M. Victoria Menis will participate.
