Bataglia leaves the IPS speaking of "mission accomplished"

In his resignation note, submitted on Monday, August 14, Bataglia stated that there were two and a half years of many challenges assumed with “total commitment”, among them the fact of facing the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The management that I have carried out has always been done with the greatest responsibility, commitment and loyalty,” said Bataglia.

“I can express with complete certainty: mission accomplished! Not only have we fought COVID-19 effectively and avoided health catastrophes that brought down governments, but we have also strengthened our health services and networks,” says part of the note.

The management of Bataglia was the target of questioning by unions, insured and retirees, before the appearance of million-dollar directed tenders, deficit in health care and inconveniences in the economic management of the institution.

As the new president of the IPS, he was appointed Dr. Jorge Brtíez, who in the next few hours will assume command of the institution.
