Adidas pulls Bella Hadid from campaign over Gaza stance

MIAMI.- The model Bella Hadid addresses the controversy bell who starred for the sports brand Adidas on the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. It was the launch of a reissue of the SL72 sneakers that the fashion house designed for the 1972 Munich competitions.

However, Internet users and some personalities rejected the model’s participation in the campaign, since at that event the Palestinian organization Black September invaded the Olympic Village and killed two Israeli athletes and kidnapped nine others, who were later murdered along with a German policeman.

The fact that Hadid, who is of Palestinian origin and has spoken out on numerous occasions on various causes in that community, was the face of the campaign caused outrage, and even a statement from the Israeli government, which forced Adidas to withdraw her from the promotion.

Bella Hadid’s reaction
